Challenge 104: String Theory, Version 23

I haven't done a Diva's challenge for a few weeks, and I've really missed it.  I'm so glad to be back!

This week's challenge is to use a specific string, which is the pencil line that divides the space in a zentangle.  For my first 2, I decided to use a monotangle.  One is all Stripes, and one is all Betweed (well, almost all).  The third is a more traditional mix of tangles.

  1. I like the pillowy effect in the second one. Interesting use of what I think is "Hibred"

  2. Great ZTs, I love your mono tangled ones. They are realy popping out of the paper. I love the touch of red in the first one, but I think #2 is my favorite. I love the tangle you used there. It is as if I have to pull the tangles aside from the middel so I can stich my head throug it to see the starry sky. Great effect.

  3. I love all three and especially the effective shading on the second one, but the use of the poatterns on the third one is also ingenious!

  8. I like them all. The middle one reminds of a big throw pillow that could just curl up on and take a nap.

  12. Wow, glad you got back into doing the challenge - it's nice to see all three and how different they are. I like the idea of doing a monotangle on this string - your first one with the touch of red is my fav.... or, no, maybe the second one which looks so full....
