This week's challenge is to use a specific string, which is the pencil line that divides the space in a zentangle. For my first 2, I decided to use a monotangle. One is all Stripes, and one is all Betweed (well, almost all). The third is a more traditional mix of tangles.

Challenge 104: String Theory, Version 23
I haven't done a Diva's challenge for a few weeks, and I've really missed it. I'm so glad to be back!

I like the pillowy effect in the second one. Interesting use of what I think is "Hibred"
ReplyDeleteGreat ZTs, I love your mono tangled ones. They are realy popping out of the paper. I love the touch of red in the first one, but I think #2 is my favorite. I love the tangle you used there. It is as if I have to pull the tangles aside from the middel so I can stich my head throug it to see the starry sky. Great effect.
ReplyDeleteI love all three and especially the effective shading on the second one, but the use of the poatterns on the third one is also ingenious!
ReplyDeleteWow, you've been busy. Love how all 3 are so different. Beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteLovely tiles. I am partial to the middle one too as it is unique:)
ReplyDeleteI am glad you did more than one because each one of the three is an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI like all three. The third is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI like them all. The middle one reminds of a big throw pillow that could just curl up on and take a nap.
ReplyDeleteSimple, and impactful.
ReplyDeleteSecond one is my favorite!
ReplyDeletei like the 3rd one best - but the mono-tangles have some interesting sites too!
ReplyDeleteAll great; the 2nd one is pulling you in, very nice work.
ReplyDeleteI like all three but the second one is just beautiful... like looking through a thick jungle canopy at a sky full of stars :o)
ReplyDeleteWow, glad you got back into doing the challenge - it's nice to see all three and how different they are. I like the idea of doing a monotangle on this string - your first one with the touch of red is my fav.... or, no, maybe the second one which looks so full....
