Zendala Dare 38

It's the start of a new year with lots of new opportunities and challenges.  I plan to keep working on my art, take a wonderful trip to Scotland, and attend my son's wedding.  Plus the usual: lose weight, exercise more, and get more organized--like that will ever happen. :-)

Erin's zendala dare this week was pretty complex, and I tried my best to NOT fill in every blank space so it wouldn't get too busy.  Moderate success with that, but I really like it.
A friend gave me a sliced rock to tangle.  Pretty cool, huh?  It was actually quite fun to do.  Here's the result, along with the tangled gift bag.

Wishing everyone a happy, fulfilling, tangle-filled new year!

  3. Very pretty zendala - I particularly like the pointy outer edges, and your wonderful shading which really gives this zendala a lot of depth. Cool rock!

  4. Really like how you get a really nice look with minimal fill. I always tend to till everything. Working on using more "white space".

  9. A Lovely zendala. I like the way you have alternated the tangles in the main shapes and that you have left some empty spaces.
