The sad news first: my lovely mother died on Sunday. As some of you know, she's been sick for a while. I feel very blessed to have been able to spend a lot of time with her over the last few weeks. This is a picture of her as a young woman. She was 93 when she died. Her pride and joy and primary focus in her life were her 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. We'll all miss her terribly. The good news is that my daughter is doing well after her surgery, which was yesterday. I'm very glad about that she's recovering nicely because I will be leaving town tomorrow to go to my mom's funeral. Knowing that she's doing so well, I can leave her in my husband's able hands.
Since I've (again) been spending a lot of hospital time, I had a chance to do this week's challenge.
And a few more in that I did in that seemingly eternal waiting time.
